Song of Myself and Walden

Starter: 


Connect the ideas to the pillars of transcendentalism, and then connect it specifically to either Song of Myself or Walden.. 
Use lyrics to support conclusions.

With your groups from yesterday, create a topic, main idea, and theme for Walden.
You will share this information with the class.

 Song of Myself and Walden Comparison

In a TPEQEQEA paragraph compare the themes in Song of Myself and Walden.

Remember, to find the theme try to summarize the piece and find a topic word to expand on.

You need to have a draft of ideas for tomorrow.  The final paragraph is due on Tuesday, September 4.

Closure: 

Connect either Walden or Song of Myself to the big idea of identity.
