Open up your interactive standard packet to standard RL 11-12.6.
Write the standard in your own words and complete the prior to unit reflection.

Activity
1. Double Entry Journal Discussion
At your table, individually share a quote from your double entry journal.
Then, select one to write on a large sheet of paper and post it in the room.
The class will respond to these quotes thought a chalk talk.
Discussion Questions
Analyze how the setting has changed from the beginning.
Analyze the evolution of the main character.
Draw conclusions about the husband John's behaviors.
Determine what is real and what is an illusion.
Predict what will happen to her at the end.
3. Graffiti Poster
You will get 10 minutes to collaborate with your table on a graffiti poster.
You will work on it at the same time, describing and illustrating ideas in the short story.
You may want to consider including symbols, ideas about the characters, point of view, etc.
